Ky-Mani's birthplace in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. Shottas was one of the most acclaimed films where he was in the film alongside another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records and recorded his 1996 debut album With Father Like Son. This was followed by numerous singles like Dear Dad, which topped British Reggae Charts. Who The Cap was a perfect fit (remix) as well as Sensimelia. These all helped to establish Ky-Mani's status as a new reggae musician. Ky-Mani collaborated with Praswell from Fugees to cover Electric Avenue from Eddy Grant. The song became a massive hit in 1997. Marley first performed at the Cameo Theatre in Miami at Midem. Marley performed on the Cameo Theatre which was live broadcasted to 36 other nations.
